Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), which sells gas under the name Inden, is preparing to launch LPG service immediately. Under this service a gas cylinder will be delivered to the customer on the day of booking.

The service will start from one district of each state

According to a senior IOCL official, the immediate LPG service will start on February 1. The service will start from at least one district or the main city of each state / UT. According to him, delivery of gas cylinders to the customer will be ensured within 45 minutes after booking under this service. The facility is being launched to improve the central government's Ease of Living principle and services.

Indane has about 140 million customers

There are about 28 crore LPG customers in the country. Of that, India has about 140 crore customers. According to an official familiar with the matter, the dealers' current delivery network will be used for the Tatkal scheme. Customers will have to pay an additional fee of Rs 25 per delivery to avail this service. According to a report, the scheme has been launched in Greater Hyderabad from January 16 in view of the Sankranti celebrations.

Bookings must be made between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.

According to an IOCL official, customers will have to make a booking between 8 am and 2 pm to get instant LPG service. IOCL is also preparing to launch a new mobile application with instant LPG service. The service will be delivered to customers on an online booking basis.

Such a facility was started in the year 2010

This is not the first time an instant gas delivery service has been launched. In July 2010, the then Oil Minister Murli Devda launched the Preferred Time LPG Delivery Scheme. Under this scheme gas cylinders were delivered to the customers from 7 am to 9 pm. An additional fee of Rs 20 to 50 per delivery was charged for this. According to an LPG trader, consumers could not take advantage of this due to lack of information. Therefore, the plan was shelved.

Delivery of the gas cylinder has to wait more than 30 days

The Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) released a report in December 2019 on delays in delivery of gas cylinders under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjawala Yojana (PMAU). According to the report, delivery of 5.94 lakh out of 3.662 million cylinders under the scheme was delayed by more than 30 days. According to the report, 1209 LPG distributors delayed the delivery of more than 100 gas cylinders by more than 30 days.

Masks must be worn even if driving by order / alone, otherwise ...

From today, car drivers will be required to wear masks. You have to wear a mask even if you are alone in the car. The declarations of the Commissioner of Police will be strictly enforced. If you are caught without a mask, you will have to pay a fine.

  • Car drivers must wear masks
  • Mask is mandatory even if you are alone in the car
  • If you are caught without a mask, you will have to pay a fine

Just last week, the government filed a reply in a Delhi court swearing that a single person in a car would not be required to wear a mask. Following the Centre's affidavit, there has been a lot of controversy over such a declaration. There is a discrepancy between the affidavit of the Center and the declaration of the Commissioner of Police.

If a driver and passengers are caught without a mask, both will be charged a fixed fine. The state Home Department has made it mandatory to wear masks in public places, workplaces, while traveling.

Drivers of four wheeler-rickshaw-taxi-cab-government-private vehicles are required to wear masks even if they are traveling alone. Earlier in May 2020, by order of the Home Department-Gujarat government, if there was only one person driving a four-wheeler while traveling, he was exempted from covering his face during the journey.

Rickshaw pullers, taxi-cab drivers, drivers of government-private vehicles and passengers will now be required to wear masks. Now the order of the Department of Health and Family Welfare dated August 2020 has been finalized.

Good news for 70,000 teachers and staff: Important decision of state government, no vacancies.

Good news for 70,000 teachers and staff: Important decision of state government, no vacancies.

The state government has taken an important decision to provide permanent protection to all teachers and staff of state-aided secondary and higher secondary schools as redundant. From now on, any newly appointed subsidized secondary or higher secondary school teacher-employee will not face the question of losing his job due to class-school closure.

The Education Minister added that the state government has taken various decisions in the interest of teachers and staff. In view of the representations made by these teachers and staff, the sensitive Chief Minister of the state has taken this decision in the interest of one more teacher.

Giving more details in this regard, he said that recruitment of teachers in non-government aided secondary and higher secondary schools has been done on a centralized basis since 2011. The decision has been taken to ensure uniform recruitment process, TAT examination, qualification, pay scale and performance of teachers in government secondary and higher secondary schools and subsidized secondary and higher secondary schools. As teachers appointed in subsidized secondary and higher secondary schools lose their jobs due to lack of surplus protection, such teachers are constantly working under the guise of insecurity, which may have a direct impact on the quality of teaching work. This decision will result in better quality and performance of education.

The minister added that as a result of this decision, if a vacant teacher is appointed instead of re-appointing to fill the vacancy, the lengthy process of filling the vacancy will be avoided and the trained experienced teacher will be given the job and the schools will get experienced teachers quickly. Teachers who want to change schools will be able to take advantage of this provision and go to their desired school as there is a provision for recruitment of old teachers for the teachers who are currently on duty.As such, permanent protection will not be abused to obtain an appointment near / from a distant place as an alternative to transfer.

He added that due to non-protection of surplus, teachers of subsidized secondary and higher secondary schools are recruited in government secondary and higher secondary schools. Doing so deprives students of non-government aided schools of teachers. As many as 30 teachers from government-aided schools have resigned in the recent recruitment of government higher secondary education assistants.Giving permanent protection to teachers in vacancies will not impose any new financial burden on the state government when they are laid off. The decision will benefit about 70,000 state-funded secondary and higher secondary school teachers and staff.

It may be mentioned here that in non-government aided secondary and higher secondary schools, due to closure of classes or closure of schools, the employees are declared vacant, job security is provided and vacancies are included in other schools. In this regard, the state government for the first time announced the policy on surplus with the resolution dated 31-06-17. And Ta. Permanent protection has been given to the teachers-staff appointed on or before 16-07-18.After that, this protection was extended for the employees-teachers appointed till 30-06-17 and permanent protection has been given to the teachers-employees appointed till 31-09-2018 as redundant.
