PM CARES એટલે કે Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations ફંડમાં અત્યાર સુધી ઓછામાં ઓછા 9677 કરોડ રૂપિયા જેટલું દાન ઉઘરાવવામાં આવ્યું છે. આ દાન 28 માર્ચે આ ફંડની જાહેર થયાના 52 દિવસમાં ઉઘરાવવામાં આવ્યું છે. IndiaSpend.com દ્વારા આ આંકડો ગણતરીમાં લેવામાં આવ્યો છે અને તેમના મતે આ આંકડો ફક્ત જાહેર થયેલા દાનના આધારે છે અને વાસ્તવિક આંકડો ઘણો મોટો છે.
PM CARES i.e. Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund has so far collected at least Rs 9677 crore in donations. The donation was raised 52 days after the fund was announced on March 28. This figure has been calculated by IndiaSpend.com and in their opinion this figure is only on the basis of declared donations and the actual figure is very large.
આ 9677.9 કરોડના આંકડા ઉપરાંત બીજા 2098.2 કરોડ રૂપિયા ઉઘરાવવાનો વાયદો લેવામાં આવ્યો છે. 9677.9 કરોડના 32% એટલે કે 3100 કરોડ રૂપિયા જેટલી રકમ PM મોદીએ PM CARES ફંડમાંથી કોવિડ 19 સામેની લડાઈમાં વાપરવાની જાહેરાત કરી હતી. નોંધનીય છે કે આ ફંડની રકમ Consolidated Fund of India હેઠળ ન આવતી હોવાથી તેનું Comptroller and Auditor General(CAG) પાસેથી ઓડિટ કરાવવું જરૂરી નથી. આથી આ દાનની વિગતો બહાર આવશે બહાર આવે તેવી શક્યતા ઓછી છે.
In addition to this figure of Rs 9677.9 crore, another Rs 2098.2 crore has been promised. PM Modi had announced to use 32% of Rs 9677.9 crore i.e. Rs 3100 crore from PM CARES fund in the fight against Kovid 19. It is to be noted that since the amount of this fund does not fall under the Consolidated Fund of India, it does not need to be audited by the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG). So the details of this donation are unlikely to come out.
