The government has claimed to give priority in vaccination to students going abroad. But the situation is somewhat different. The corona vaccine case has created a new problem for students going abroad. Only two vaccines, Covishield and Co-vaccine, are currently being administered in India. Of which the co-vaccine certificate is not considered valid anywhere else abroad. So after taking one dose of Covishield you have to wait for 12 weeks for another dose. That's why he can't go abroad in July as September has come until he gets the second dose.

This will ruin his two-month study. Students from Gujarat going abroad for study will be given priority in Kavid vaccination. Chief Minister Rupani said that many students from Gujarat are going abroad for study in the coming months. Students will be given special priority in vaccination so that they do not face any hindrance in traveling abroad.Responsibility for this has been handed over to the District Collectors and Municipal Commissioners in the municipal areas across the state. This evidence must be presented by the student

The sensitive decision was taken by the state government at a meeting of the core committee held in Gandhinagar under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Vijaybhai Rupani. Students from the district who are going abroad for study in the coming months will have to contact the Collector in person with their I-20 form or DS-160 form or the confirmation letter of admission of that university or college from abroad to get the vaccine on priority basis.

Students living in Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot, Junagadh, Bhavnagar, Jamnagar and Gandhinagar municipal areas will have to contact the Municipal Commissioner with these letters.
