Four years “Coordinated Degree Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with no less than 50 % marks in total.

PRT Posts :

The Modi government has taken a big decision for the youth who want to become teachers. Following the decision of the Central Government to extend the validity of Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for life

Once passed the TET exam will be valid for life

The Union Ministry of Education on Thursday issued a new order stating that from now on, once passed the TET exam, it will be valid for life. The ministry said the arrangement would be effective from 2011. New Certificates will be issued to the candidates of the States and Union Territories whose TET Certificate is expiring after seven years.  .

Generally, young people who want to become teachers have to pass the teacher aptitude test every seven years. This system applies throughout the country. Until now, the certificate was valid for seven years.

After the new order of the Ministry of Education, the youth will not have to pass the TET every seven years to become a teacher. If a person is not appointed as a teacher within seven years after passing the TET, he has to take the TET again. This is how a new job application has to go through this process. However, this will not happen now.Once passed the TET, its certificate will be valid for life. It may be mentioned that every year millions of candidates appear in the TET examinations conducted by the Central Government or the State Government. The UP Teacher Eligibility Test is valid for five years while the CTET is valid for 7 years.

"Selection Committee for the recruitment of Gujarat State Secondary and Higher Secondary Educational Staff" has been constituted for Government Schools and Government Non-Government Aided Schools with the notification of the State Government dated 7/9/3.

The members of this committee are as follows.

1. Director, School Office, Gandhinagar - Chairman, Designation
2. Vice President, Gujarat. And uh Board of Education, Gandhinagar- Member
3. Senior Government Officer - Member of the lower rank from the Deputy Secretary to the Government to be appointed.
4. Two nominated academics to be nominated by the government - a member
5. Representative - A member of the accredited Association of School Operations, nominated by the Government
6. Joint Director, Education, Gandhinagar - Member and Member Secretary

Functions of the Selection Committee: -

• The number of teachers to be recruited should be determined by the District Education Officers. However, it would be imperative for district teachers to fill out a demand letter to fill the vacancies of teachers.
