CSIR−CFTRI invites applications online from Indian citizens in the prescribed
application format for the posts of Technical Assistant for the technical support in

Education Qualification :
- B.Sc. with Food Technology / Food science / Microbiology / Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Chemistry/ Bio chemistry / Horticulture / B.Lib. Science.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Technology
Selection Procedure : The candidates as recommended by the Screening Committee will be invited for Trade Test. Those
who qualify in the Trade Test will be invited for a competitive written examination. The final merit
list will be prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidate in the competitive written
examination.
Application Fee :
A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 100/- (one Hundred) only wherever applicable may
be deposited through

copy of e-receipt of the same must be enclosed with the application.
The candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/Women/Regular CSIR Employees are exempted
from payment of application fee.

The print out of the successfully submitted online Application must be duly accompanied by
self attested copies of the certificates, mark sheets, testimonials in support of age, education
qualifications, experience and caste certificate (if applicable) together with E-RECEIPT of the
Application fees, (if applicable) should be sent in an envelope superscribed “APPLICATION
FOR THE POST OF “TECHNICAL ASSISTANT” (Post Code____________)” „Advertisement
No. 36/2018’ by speed post/registered post on or before 18-01-2019 and should reach the
address given below, separately for each post code, in case a candidate applies for multiple
post codes.
