Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani here today announced through video conferencing an assistance scheme to enc
ourage use of battery-operated two-wheelers and three-wheelers in the state to check air pollution. 

Gujarat Government will provide subsidy of Rs.12,000 to school students studying in Standard-9 to colleges, with a target of 10,000 such vehicles. Similarly, a subsidy of Rs.48,000 will be given for three-wheeler e-rickshaw for individual and institutional beneficiaries, with a target of 5,000. Announcing the scheme as part of ve development projects, ‘Panchsheel’ Gift, to celebrate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday today, Mr. Rupani also announced Rs.50 lakh scheme for charging e-vehicles for creating necessary infrastructure. It was on this day, 11 years ago the then Gujarat’s Chief Minister Narendra Modi had set up the country’s rst a separate Climate Change Department, long before the climate change appeared as a challenge before the world.

Public sector company Indane has made it easy for its customers to book gas cylinders from anywhere in the country. The country's oil marketing company has announced a new number. Gas booking has to be done on this number. If the old number does not work now you need to delete it from the phone and save this new number. Indian Oil said earlier there were different numbers for different areas of the country for cooking gas. Now the country’s largest petroleum company has declared No. 1 for every customer.

For cylinder booking one has to use the company from his registered mobile number and the number given by him. The company said a separate phone number for each telecom circle for booking of Indian refills has been discontinued from October 31 and a new number has been announced from November 1.
