The Government of Gujarat and the Central Government provide assistance through a number of government schemes for the development and economic upliftment of farmers. Farmers get information about the prevailing schemes of the government but many small schemes which can give big benefits can also benefit the farmers. One such scheme is helping farmers in solar traps with a deadline of March 21, 2022. If you also want to take advantage of this scheme and know the full details of applying, read the report.

Financial support for solar light traps

The biggest problem farmers face in crops is pests. Solar light traps have become very popular nowadays, especially in horticultural crops, as farmers resort to various measures to protect their crops. Now the government also provides financial assistance to farmers for this trap. Farmers are being subsidized to buy solar light traps.

Who can get this help?

The benefits of this scheme can be availed by the farmers of Gujarat

The farmer should own the land and have his own land record or copy of 7/12 extract

How much help?

90% of the cost of solar light trap for SC / ST farmers or Rs. Less than these two in the limit of 4500 / -

While for all other farmers 70% of the price of Solar Light Trap or Rs.3500 / - whichever is less.

CM Bhupendra Patel launches statewide Sujalam Sufalam Jal Abhiyan-2022, find out how much farmers will benefit from the scheme

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated the state-wide Sujalam Sufalam Jal Abhiyan-2022. The CM reached Kolwada village in Gandhinagar to launch the campaign. Where he has started a water campaign from Wadia Lake. On this occasion, CM Bhupendra Patel said that this scheme is going to directly and indirectly benefit the farmers.

Sujalam Sufalam Abhiyan will raise the ground water level and not only human beings but also animals and birds will get enough water. The four phases of this water campaign in the state have been a resounding success with the help of the people. In the years 2013 to 2021, under the Sujalam Sufalam Jal Abhiyan, 4 thousand 8 works have been done. With the work of deepening 31 thousand 203 lakes and 1 thousand 203 new check dams, cleaning of canals and bronze in the length of 20 thousand 3 kilometers has been done.

• Sujalam Sufalam Jal Abhiyan started on 1st May 2016
• In the year 2021, 4,5 works of public participation and 2,50 works under MNREGA were carried out.

• Water storage capacity increased by 12,619 cubic feet
• In the last 3 years, 4.5 works were carried out in the state
• 21,308 works were carried out to blow up the lake
• Check dam desilting 12,31 works were carried out
• 1908 works of new check dam were carried out
• 1.2 works of forest lake were carried out
• 1.2 works of farm pond were carried out
• 3 works were carried out to revive the river
• Cleaning works of 20.5 km long canals were carried out
• 14.5 lakh people got employment in the state
• 15.00 crore was received by the government under public participation
• In four years, the storage capacity has increased to 31,31 cubic feet

One day clothes can hide on the soundtrack of our lives, all around us can catch the sound inside us. A new fiber acts as a microphone - picking up speech, the sound of leaves and the chirping of birds and converts sound signals into electricity. Woven into the fabric, the material can also be handcuffed and faint sounds like the wearer's heartbeat can be heard, the researchers reported in Nature on March 16. Such clothing can provide a comfortable, non-intrusive - even fashionable - service to monitor or help with body functions.

Acoustic fabrics have existed for thousands of years. But it is used to slow down the sound. This information was given to Wei Yan, a material scientist at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Yan, who works on fabric at MIT, says that fabric as a microphone is a completely different concept.

Yan was inspired by his fellow human eardrums. Sound waves produce vibrations on the eardrum. Which is converted into electrical signals by the cochlea. These eardrums are made of fiber. This is according to Joel Fink, a serial scientist at MIT. In the inner layers of the eardrum, collagen fibers are transmitted from the center. While others form central rings. Fink says that crisscrossing fibers play a role in hearing and which are similar to fabrics.

In pursuit of what is happening in the eardrum, the sound vibrates the fabric on the nanoscale. In the new fabric, cotton fibers and a slightly harder material called tavaron effectively convert incoming sound into vibration. This is a fiber woven with threads consisting of a mixture of piezoelectric materials, which produces voltage when pressed or twisted (SN: 8/22/17). The buckling and bending of the piezoelectric-containing fiber produces electrical signals that can be sent to a device reading and recording voltage through a small circuit board.

A big news related to LPG cylinder subsidy may come soon. It is assumed that the increase in the price of LPG cylinder will be related. The ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine has pushed up crude oil prices. It is also being claimed that the price of a domestic gas cylinder will reach one thousand rupees. However, the facts regarding the rising cost of LPG cylinders have not come to light yet.

But the government's internal assessment suggests that the consumer may have to pay Rs 1,000 for a cylinder. There is also talk that the government may take a two-pronged approach to domestic cylinders. In this, either the cylinder should be supplied without subsidy or only some consumers should be given the benefit of subsidy.

The benefit of subsidy is only for the beneficiaries

The government has not yet given a clear indication of the subsidy. But news is coming quoting sources that the rule of one lakh rupees will be implemented. In addition, only the beneficiaries of Ujjawala scheme will be given the benefit of subsidy. Subsidies for other consumers may end. The increase in the price of LPG cylinder is unchanged. The price of a cylinder has been steadily rising in the last year 2021. However, the price of the cylinder has not improved in the new year.

Today, this recommendation has been accepted by the state government and it has been decided to impart knowledge of Gita to the students studying in Std. 6 to 12. Earlier it was decided by the education department to give importance to English language along with Gujarati in Std-1 and Std-2, but now it has been decided to bring one more change in the education policy in the state.

From the academic year 2022-23, Indian culture and knowledge system will be added in school education, meaning that students studying in Std. So that the knowledge about the scriptures will come to the next generation, they will also be interested in it and it will be properly communicated to other new generations to come.

Students studying in Std. 6th to 8th will be introduced about Shrimad Bhagwad Gita in the form of story in the textbook of all education subject while students studying in Std. 9th to 12th will be introduced about Shrimad Bhagwad Gita in the form of story in first language textbook. A program of Gita recitation will be organized in the schools during the prayer meeting. Apart from this, various competitions and creative activities like Gita based Shlokagan, Shlokpurti, Vakrtva, Nibandha, Natya, Chitra, Quiz etc. will also be organized in the schools.
