Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given information about this on social media. It may be mentioned that under Ayushman Bharat Yojana, financial help is given to the poor of the country for better treatment. Under this scheme, free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh is guaranteed to the poor.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted that every Indian would be proud to know that the number of beneficiaries of Ayushman Bharat has crossed 1 crore.
Less than two years have seen a positive impact on so many people. I congratulate all the beneficiaries and their families. I pray for their good health.
PM Modi said that I appreciate our doctors, nurses, health workers and all those connected with Living India.
Because of their efforts this has become the largest healthcare program in the world. The scheme has won the trust of some Indians, especially the poor and dalits.
PM Modi said on Twitter that the biggest benefit of Ayushman Bharat is portability.
Beneficiaries can get good and affordable medical care not only where they are registered, but also in other parts of India. This helps people who are working away from home.
"I will interact with the beneficiaries of the scheme during my visit," PM Modi said. "During my official visit, I will interact with the beneficiaries of Living India," PM Modi said through Twitter.
