Assam government announced that the Urban areas falling under the jurisdiction of town committees and municipalities will follow the weekend lockdown.
કોરોના વાયરસના કારણે દેશભરમાં દરરોજ હજારોની સંખ્યામાં કેસ સામે આવી રહ્યા છે. રાજધાની દિલ્હીની પરિસ્થિતિ સતત બગડી રહી છે ત્યાં દેશનાં કેટલાક રાજ્યો હેવ અનલોક-2ની તૈયારી કરી રહ્યા છે. જ્યાં અન્ય રાજ્યો વધુ છૂટછાટની તૈયારી કરી રહ્યા છે ત્યાં અસમનાં ગુવાહાટીમાં ફરીથી લોકડાઉન લાગુ કરવાની જાહેરાત કરવામાં આવી છે. આ લોકડાઉન 12 જુલાઈ સુધી રહેશે.

કોરોના વાયરસના કહેરના કારણે ગુવાહાટીમાં ફરીવાર સંપૂર્ણ લોકડાઉન લાગુ કરી દેવામાં આવ્યું છે. રાજ્ય સરકારે રવિવારની મધ્યરાત્રીથી આખા શહેરને સંપૂર્ણ લોકડાઉન કરી દેવાનો નિર્ણય લીધો છે. આ લોકડાઉન 12 જુલાઈ સુધી ચાલશે
કોઈ પણ પ્રકારનાં પાસ આપવામાં આવશે નહીં
રાજ્ય સરકારના દિગ્ગજ મંત્રી હેમંત બિસ્વા શર્માએ કહ્યું કે આ દરમિયાન રાજ્યમાં દરેક વ્યવસાયિક અને ઔદ્યોગિક કારખાના બંધ રહેશે. કોઈ પણ સાર્વજનિક અને ખાનગી વાહનોને પરવાનગી આપવામાં આવશે નહીં. કોઈ પણ પ્રકારનાં પાસ આપવામાં આવશે નહીં.
આ વખતે લોકડાઉન ખૂબ કડક હશે
રાજ્યના સ્વાસ્થ્યમંત્રીએ કહ્યું કે હવે અમારા પાસે પૂર્ણ લોકડાઉન લાગુ કરવા સિવાય કોઈ વિકલ્પ બચ્યો નથી. આ વખતે લોકડાઉન ખૂબ કડક હશે. પહેલા સાત દિવસ સુધી તો કરિયાણા અને શાકભાજી પણ નહીં મળે.
અસમનાં સ્વાસ્થ્ય મંત્રીએ જણાવ્યું કે ગુરુવારે રાજ્યમાં કોરોના વાયરસનાં નવા 88 કેસ સામે આવતા કુલ પોઝિટિવ કેસની સંખ્યા સાડા છ હજારની નજીક છે. રાજ્યમાં વર્તમાનમાં 2400 એક્ટિવ કેસ છે અને સાજા થવાનો દર 63 ટકા છે.
According to the reports, State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma while making the announcements appealed to the citizens to complete their shopping by Sunday as from next week, only medical shops and hospitals will remain open in towns.
News agency ANI quoted Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma as saying, "Complete lockdown to be imposed in the entire Kamrup Metropolitan district from the midnight of June 28 for the next 14 days, due to rise in COVID-19 cases. Medical stores to remain open during the lockdown."
Sarma further announced that the Urban areas falling under the jurisdiction of town committees and municipalities will follow the weekend lockdown.
"Weekend lockdown on Saturdays and Sundays to be enforced in urban areas in Assam. Areas falling under the jurisdiction of town committees and municipalities will come under the ambit of the weekend lockdown and will continue until further notice," health minister Sarma said.
The minister further announced that a 12-hour night-curfew starting from 7 pm till 7 am will also be observed across the state from Friday. However, emergency services, banks and air/rail travel with tickets will be allowed till further notice.
