The Meteorological Department has forecast rains in some parts of the state due to western disturbances. In the coming days, the weather in Saurashtra and South Gujarat may change. This may lead to scattered rains on December 10 and 11. According to the meteorological department, scattered showers are likely in Bhavnagar, Somnath and Dahod, Panchmahal, Vadodara and Anand in Saurashtra during these days.

In this regard, Dr. Jayant Sarkar, Director, Meteorological Department, Ahmedabad, said that light rain is likely in Gir-Somnath district on the 10th or first day. On the next day i.e. on the 11th, there is a possibility of some rain in Surat district of South Gujarat. Scattered rains are likely in Bhavnagar, Dahod, Panchmahal, Anand and Vadodara districts.
