LIC gives big relief to policyholders! Now you can deposit your policy maturity claim in any branch of the country.
Life Insurance Corporation (LIC), the country's largest insurance company, has given a big gift to its millions of policyholders. To reduce the inconvenience to its policyholders during the Corona epidemic, LIC said policyholders can submit LIC maturity claim documents to any LIC office near the country by the end of the month. The LIC's decision has come as a huge relief to policyholders whose policies have matured. LIC tweeted about this.
LIC said it has 113 divisional offices, 2,048 branches, 1,526 small offices across the country. Apart from this, it also has 74 customer zones where the maturity claim forms of their policy will be accepted from the policyholders. In this, a claim form for a policy taken from any branch can be submitted anywhere.
This feature has been started as testing
LIC said the facility has been launched as a testing ground and has been implemented with immediate effect. The facility ends on March 31. LIC currently has over 29 crore policyholders.
The company has said the policy will actually be claimed by its main branch. Under this, documents will be submitted by the digitally organized cell of the branch. He said all officers have been given special authority to process such claims.

LIC made another release earlier this week. LIC launches new policy 'Savings Plus'. It also has a savings facility along with security. The maturity of the scheme is five years. If the policyholder dies before the maturity of the policy, the victim's family will receive financial assistance. This policy offers the option of opting for Sum Assured on Death for single premium and limited premium payment mode.
