Speaking of work: If your relative dies from Corona, you have to file an income tax return, find out what the rules are.
Speaking of work: If your relative dies from Corona, you have to file an income tax return, find out what the rules are.
Many have lost loved ones to the Corona epidemic. It is often the case that an income tax return is not filed after the death of the taxpayer, but it is wrong to do so. According to the Income Tax Act, it is mandatory to file an Income Tax Return (ITR) for any person whose income falls within the taxable limit in the relevant financial year, even if he has not died.
Who will have to pay tax after the death of the taxpayer?
After the death of a person, the responsibility of paying income tax of that person lies with his heirs. After filing an ITR for a deceased taxpayer, the Income Tax Department permanently closes the account of that deceased taxpayer. In fact the income is assessed from the beginning of the financial year to the date of death of the taxpayer to file the return of the deceased. Income tax returns of deceased family members are filed by the legal heir or legal representative.
What is the rule for taking it?
Under section 159 of the Income Tax Act 1961, if a person dies, his legal heir has to pay tax. So if you are a legal heir, first you have to contact the income tax department and register yourself as the legal representative of the deceased. It is then allowed to file an IT return on behalf of the deceased taxpayer.
If the taxpayer has not prepared a will before his death, then according to the Indian Succession Rule, the person who is entitled to the deceased's property has to comply with the income tax liability.
How will the deceased's income be calculated?
As a rule, income from the beginning of the financial year to death is considered the income of the deceased. Income received from property inherited from the deceased is considered taxable.
What will the heir have to do?
After the death of the taxpayer, the responsibility of filing the return falls on his successor. Only the heir has to file his return and pay income tax. Apart from that, if any notice is issued before death, the responsibility will also remain with the heir. His proceedings may continue against the heir from the date of death. That is why it is better to dispose of everything on time.
This document is required
A bank statement, investment document and other relevant documents are required to file a return so that the income tax can be assessed. To file a return of a deceased person as a legal heir, one has to first register with the IT department. This process requires a death certificate, a deceased person's pen card, a legal heir's self-attested pen card and a copy of the legal heir's certificate.
It is also necessary to cancel the pen card
It needs to be canceled after the person dies. The legal heir of the person or the relative of the person can apply to the income tax department to cancel the pen card. After filing the return and paying the outstanding tax, the assessment officer has to submit a written application to cancel the pen. The income tax department will cancel the pen card after verifying the application.

New discovery: 50 kg urea bag will now be made from a bottle, IFFCO's Gujarat Research Center makes world's first nano urea liquid.
A bottle of 500 ml will replace a traditional one bag
Will significantly reduce logistics and warehousing costs
The Nano Biotechnology Research Center of Indian Farmers Fertilizer Co-operative Limited (IFFCO) at Kalol in Gujarat has developed the world's first nano urea liquid. According to the company, nano urea liquid has been found to be effective and efficient for plant nutrition. It increases productivity with good nutritional quality. It will significantly reduce global warming with an impact on climate change and sustainable development with a very positive impact on groundwater quality.
Farmers' input costs will decrease.
The company said IFFCO Nano Urea Liquid is reasonable for farmers and will be useful in increasing their income. A 500 ml bottle of IFFCO Nano Urea Liquid will replace at least one bag of conventional urea, thus reducing farmers' input costs. Nano urea liquid is smaller in size and will also reduce logistics and warehousing costs. The company has introduced a 500 ml bottle of Nano Urea for farmers at a price of Rs. 240, which is 10 percent cheaper than a traditional urea bag.

According to IFFCO, the use of nano urea liquid by farmers will accelerate a balanced nutrition program and reduce excessive use of urea in the soil. Excessive use of urea harms environmental pollution, soil health and makes plants more susceptible to disease and pest infestation as well as delays in crop growth and loss in production. Nano urea liquid makes the crop strong, healthy and protects it from other effects.

The good news: RBI is bringing new Rs 100 notes soon, will not crack and will not be damaged by water.
The good news: RBI is bringing new Rs 100 notes soon, will not crack and will not be damaged by water.
The Reserve Bank of India has decided to issue new Rs 100 notes in the near future. These notes will be coated with varnish.
It is currently in circulation on a trial basis and the bank is preparing to launch it on a large scale. The reason for coating varnish is to make the notes more durable and secure. The current 100 note deteriorates very quickly and is torn very quickly. The Reserve Bank has to exchange millions of crores of rupees every year. Usually one out of every five notes has to be removed and a large amount of money is spent on it.
Many countries around the world use plastic notes to get rid of this problem. If the trial of varnish coated notes is successful, the existing Rs 100 notes will be replaced in phases and the new notes will be exchanged for currency. There is no need to take extra care of the new note. Because it will not burst quickly and falling into the water will not cause much damage to it.
Varnish is commonly used when painting on wood and iron objects. Other countries of the world are using it in currency notes and now it has been decided to use it in India as well. The bank wants to design the new note in such a way that even blind people can recognize it by hand. As part of the new arrangement, measures like textile mark on notes, different sizes of notes are included.
The Bank has also set up a Quality Assurance Laboratory to improve the quality of notes. The notes are printed in different presses of the country and laboratory work is done to keep the standard the same.

EXCLUSIVE: Maa card flop played by Gujarat government to help patients in Corona period, still pending implementation.
EXCLUSIVE: Maa card flop played by Gujarat government to help patients in Corona period, still pending implementation.
The Gujarat government had announced that Corona patients would get treatment under Maa Card. But the fact is something different. Treatment has not yet begun. This was revealed when a VTV reporter called the Maa card helpline.
No implementation till 15 days after Gujarat government announces aid
On May 12, the Gujarat government announced assistance of up to Rs 50,000 to the beneficiaries of Maa Card
Treatment was announced in Corona for 10 days at the rate of 5 thousand per day
To date, the hospital has not yet implemented the response received from the helpline.
The second wave of Corona has brought mankind to a point where nothing can be seen from now on, every day is rising with many questions, many evenings are falling with many fears, millions have lost their loved ones, entire families are plunged into epidemics. Cases of being gone are no less, if an old man's old stick has been stripped away, many children have become unregistered registrars,No, if the old age of an old man has been snatched away, then many children have become unregistered registrars. Has become a component of planning.
That is why death is being measured by statistics instead of sensitivity .... that is why today the government is looking at every patient as an innumerable responsibility instead of looking at him as a human being, the tax collectors are seeing an opportunity in a disaster And as the media understands, the reason for this was that getting treatment in government hospitals in the second phase of the epidemic was even harder than getting water in the desert and it was much easier to get injections from the black market stalls.
Corona is scheduled to be treated by July 10
The tragic scenes of Corona's second wave will never be forgotten, but it is difficult for families to fill the void left by the economic devastation of the people for decades, and it is natural for everyone to remember 'Ma' in difficult times. Naturally, the government also remembered 'Ma'. This means Chief Minister Ma and Ma Amrutam Yojana. The government announced too late that it would go out to lock the stables after the horses were released, and that Corona treatment would be provided free of charge to Maa card holders.According to the government's announcement, Corona was included in the Maa card till July 10 and the government will bear the cost of treatment for 10 days within the daily limit of Rs 5,000. Thus the government announced the Maa card in Corona.
One of the main reasons why the government's announcement has to be called a proclamation is that the health sector in Gujarat is governed in a "I don't know" manner. Whether the government knows it or not, the public knows it all, and for those who don't know it, even after the government's announcement, corona treatment under the Maa card has not yet begun. The government, which had promised to provide treatment till July 10, did not even provide treatment to Shri Ganesh. Evidence of this is given below in the form of an audio recording.
Circular received but will be implemented soon: Helpline reply.
The thing is, our reporter called the Maa Card helpline to find out if the government's announcement was really being implemented or if it was just proving to be a hoax. You will be surprised to know that despite the announcement made by the Chief Minister on May 12, the department did not even receive the circular for two weeks and when the circular was received, the implementation did not start without announcing when it would be implemented. Listen to the audio below. The helpline got the answer.
So when will you get treatment?
The question on the government is, even in the midst of this epidemic, after the announcement, if the treatment under the Maa card has not started yet, when will the seriousness of this matter be understood? Do patients plan to be treated after the epidemic is over?
Relief will not be available in Gujarat till this date, this order of the Central Government will have a big impact.
Relief will not be available in Gujarat till this date, this order of the Central Government will have a big impact.
The Corona virus epidemic is currently raging across the country. In Gujarat too, the second wave of Corona is putting a lot of burden on the health sector. Cases are declining after a long time now. With this, people are now hoping for relief. People are hoping that the sanctions that have been imposed due to the Corona epidemic will now be eased. However, the Union Home Ministry has issued an order.
The Home Ministry (MHO) has directed the States and Union Territories to adhere to the guidelines implemented by June 30 to prevent the transmission of corona. The ministry on Thursday issued an order to the secretaries of ministries and departments of the Government of India and the chief secretaries and administrators of all the states and union territories asking them to abide by the COVID-19 guideline outlined by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on April 25. At the same time, it has said that after assessing the local situation, a decision has to be taken to give concessions in stages.
The Union Home Ministry has issued a circular. The circular called on states to maintain restrictions on the corona virus epidemic until June 30, 2021. This means that the restrictions that the central government has imposed on various states, including the Corona guideline, including lockdowns in some states, will not be relaxed now and will continue until June.
Many were hoping that soon there would be relief in matters including school colleges, restaurants, hotels, parks, cinema halls, number of guests at wedding occasions, public ceremonies etc. But the government's new circular has put an end to all hopes of relief.
