Scientists have created a garment that can hear the 'beating' of your heart.

Scientists have created a garment that can hear the 'beating' of your heart.

One day clothes can hide on the soundtrack of our lives, all around us can catch the sound inside us. A new fiber acts as a microphone - picking up speech, the sound of leaves and the chirping of birds and converts sound signals into electricity. Woven into the fabric, the material can also be handcuffed and faint sounds like the wearer's heartbeat can be heard, the researchers reported in Nature on March 16. Such clothing can provide a comfortable, non-intrusive - even fashionable - service to monitor or help with body functions.

Acoustic fabrics have existed for thousands of years. But it is used to slow down the sound. This information was given to Wei Yan, a material scientist at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Yan, who works on fabric at MIT, says that fabric as a microphone is a completely different concept.

Yan was inspired by his fellow human eardrums. Sound waves produce vibrations on the eardrum. Which is converted into electrical signals by the cochlea. These eardrums are made of fiber. This is according to Joel Fink, a serial scientist at MIT. In the inner layers of the eardrum, collagen fibers are transmitted from the center. While others form central rings. Fink says that crisscrossing fibers play a role in hearing and which are similar to fabrics.

In pursuit of what is happening in the eardrum, the sound vibrates the fabric on the nanoscale. In the new fabric, cotton fibers and a slightly harder material called tavaron effectively convert incoming sound into vibration. This is a fiber woven with threads consisting of a mixture of piezoelectric materials, which produces voltage when pressed or twisted (SN: 8/22/17). The buckling and bending of the piezoelectric-containing fiber produces electrical signals that can be sent to a device reading and recording voltage through a small circuit board.

The team reports that fabric microphones are sensitive to a range of noise levels ranging from quiet libraries to heavy traffic, although they are still investigating what signal processing is needed to distinguish target sounds from ambient noise. Integrated into clothing, Yan says, this sound-sensing fabric looks like regular clothing. And it continues to work like a microphone even after washing 10 times.

Price hike / LPG cylinder price hike will continue, beneficiaries of this scheme will get the benefit of subsidy

Price hike / LPG cylinder price hike will continue, beneficiaries of this scheme will get the benefit of subsidy

A big news related to LPG cylinder subsidy may come soon. It is assumed that the increase in the price of LPG cylinder will be related. The ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine has pushed up crude oil prices. It is also being claimed that the price of a domestic gas cylinder will reach one thousand rupees. However, the facts regarding the rising cost of LPG cylinders have not come to light yet.

But the government's internal assessment suggests that the consumer may have to pay Rs 1,000 for a cylinder. There is also talk that the government may take a two-pronged approach to domestic cylinders. In this, either the cylinder should be supplied without subsidy or only some consumers should be given the benefit of subsidy.

The benefit of subsidy is only for the beneficiaries
The government has not yet given a clear indication of the subsidy. But news is coming quoting sources that the rule of one lakh rupees will be implemented. In addition, only the beneficiaries of Ujjawala scheme will be given the benefit of subsidy. Subsidies for other consumers may end. The increase in the price of LPG cylinder is unchanged. The price of a cylinder has been steadily rising in the last year 2021. However, the price of the cylinder has not improved in the new year.

The subsidy started in January 2015
It is to be noted that subsidy on LPG has been coming in the last few months. During the financial year 2021, the government's expenditure on subsidy was Rs. 3559. In the financial year 2020, this expenditure was 24 thousand 468 crore rupees. Actually, this is under DBT scheme. Which was launched in January 2015. In this, consumers have to pay the full amount for a non-subsidized domestic cylinder. The subsidy money is returned by the government to the customer's bank account. However, this refund is direct so the name of the scheme is DBTL.

Corona vaccine also cures mental illness

Suneet Kumar Singh, a professor at the Benaras Hindu University, said that taking the corona vaccine can cure chronic cough, viral fever, flu and some other ailments. In some cases, serious illnesses can be eradicated, he said.

Scientists claim that the vaccine also cures mental illness

Researchers at the University of Southern University found in their research that the corona vaccine vaccine not only protects against the corona virus but can also cure some mental illnesses.

People who get vaccinated will get relief from anxiety, depression and stress

The research involved 8,000 people who received the first dose of the vaccine. According to him, the development of flock immunity through vaccination has contributed a lot in reducing anxiety, depression and stress among the people. This means that the vaccine is also having a significant effect on mental health. OC-43) and also by HKU-.

 Cross reaction with antibody

In people who have been vaccinated, the vaccine's antibodies cross-process with normal antibodies, which may also help prevent the virus responsible for various symptoms, such as the common cold. Dr. "Omicron variant is spreading faster than alpha coronavirus," Sunit added. Patients with the Omicron variant are also experiencing symptoms similar to the common cold caused by influenza flu. But these symptoms can also occur with the Omicron variant. So if you notice such symptoms, quarantine yourself immediately and get a covid test. Analysis / The biggest news regarding the end of the third wave of Corona from India, the statement of the scientists will know the relief.

Analysis / The biggest news regarding the end of the third wave of Corona from India, the statement of the scientists will know the relief.

A third wave from India will be completed in March, said a professor from Kanpur IIT.

When will the third wave of Corona end in India?

The claim was made by a professor from IIT Kanpur

The third wave is expected to be completed in March

In the last 24 hours, 1,79,723 new cases of corona virus have been reported in India while 46,569 people have recovered. Corona has also killed 146 people in the country. Corona's active cases have risen to 7,23,619. So the positive rate has gone up to 13.29 per cent. So the cases of the new variant Omicron of Corona have increased to 4033. In the midst of all this, experts are also expressing fears that a third wave of Corona has hit some parts of the country, including Delhi and Mumbai. But soon the third wave of Corona in the country will be over. However, experts believe that the third wave of Corona has started in Mumbai and Delhi.

Corona's third wave at the top in Mumbai-Delhi

Manind Agarwal, a professor and mathematician at IIT Kanpur, studied the Corona case in Mumbai and Delhi. He claims that by the end of January, there could be 8 lakh cases of corona infection in India. He said, "The third wave of Corona in Mumbai is expected to reach its peak by the middle of this month. A similar situation is not far off in Delhi.

When will the third wave of Corona end in the country?

"According to the current preliminary calculations, we anticipate that the third wave of corona in Delhi will reach its peak next month, i.e. early February," said Professor Manind. He further said that the faster the corona graph of Delhi and Mumbai goes up, the faster it is likely to go down. The graph of the whole country has just begun to grow. It should take another month for it to reach its peak and come down. The third wave of epidemics in India was also expected to end by mid-March.

What is the professor's opinion about lockdown?

Regarding the lockdown, Manind Agarwal says that a very strict lockdown was followed in the first wave so that the transition to Corona was slowed down.

During the second wave, different states adopted different strategies. States that properly implemented mild or moderate lockdowns also helped reduce Corona transition. But due to the lockdown, many people lost their livelihood. Some even died due to loss of livelihood.
