Railway Minister announces to run Bharat Gaurav train

Indian Railways (Indian Railways) has now made a special offer to rail passengers. Now a scheme is being launched in the country under which any state or individual can hire trains and these trains have been named as 'Bharat Gaurav Train' (Bharat Gaurav Train). The trains will have to meet certain conditions and instead the railways will charge them a minimum fare.

Trains to run in India Pride Country

The country currently plans to run 180 Bharat Gaurav trains with more than 3,000 coaches. Railways has also started the process of receiving applications for this from today and they are getting very good response.

190 trains fixed, India proud to run

According to Railways, Bharat Gaurav trains can be operated by both private sector and IRCTC. It will also be taken by the tour operator. These trains will be based on the theme reflecting the culture and heritage of India, with about 190 trains designated for this purpose. Passengers are going to start a third of trains for rail tourism after freight.

Aim to promote tourism

Announcing the scheme, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that the stakeholders would modernize and operate the trains while the railways would provide maintenance, parking and other facilities for the trains. He said it would not be like a regular train service as it was not a normal train service. The main objective of Bharat Gaurav trains is to promote tourism in India.

The Railway Minister said that now these trains are being started only with the tourist hub. The Prime Minister said that railways should be linked with Indian culture and civilization, which would lead to the launch of railways to show the pride of India. Applications have started from today and these special trains can be operated by any state, individual or organization.

How the rent will be determined

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said fares would be fixed by tour operators but no further charges would be levied. The Ministry of Railways will intervene only if more charges are levied. Coaches of any category including Tejas, Vande Bharat will be used in these trains. These coaches will be provided based on the demand of the operators. Fares will also vary according to the train's coaches and facilities.
