There is good news for central employees. Employees' salaries are set to rise this month. In fact, after a 28% increase in DA, the inflation allowance has once again been increased by 3%. According to the finance ministry, from October, employees will get a total of 31 per cent inflation allowance with a 3% increase in DA. That means November's salary will increase.
Significantly, after a long wait, the central government has increased the dearness allowance of employees from 17 per cent to 28 per cent. Then another increase of 3% DA was made. Since then the total DA has gone up to 31%.

After a 3% increase in the inflation allowance, the total DA is 31%. The total annual allowance will now be Rs 66,960 on a basic salary of Rs 18,000. But when it comes to distance, the annual increase in salary will be Rs 6,480.

- New inflation allowance (31%) - Rs. 5580 / month
- Expensive Allowance so far (28%) - Rs. 5040 / month
- How much inflation allowance- 5580-5040 = 540 rupees / month
- Increase in annual salary - 540 X 12 = Rs. 6,480

- Basic Salary of Employee - Rs. 56900
- New Inflation Allowance (31%) - Rs.17639 / month
- Expensive Allowance so far (28%) - Rs. 15932 / month
- How much increased allowance - 17639-15932 = Rs. 1,707 / month
- Increase in annual salary - Rs. 1,707 X12 = Rs. 20,484
